TechBloster ("we", "us") designs websites for small businesses in India. This policy explains what personal information we collect through techbloster.com, why we collect it, and the choices you have. We handle personal data in line with applicable Indian law, including the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.
1. Information we collect
Information you give us. When you fill in our contact form we collect your name, mobile number, business name, the service you are interested in, the pricing plan you selected (if any) and any message you write. If you contact us by email or WhatsApp we also receive whatever you choose to send.
Information collected automatically. When you use the site our server records your IP address, browser type (user agent), the page you viewed, and simple interaction events such as clicking a WhatsApp button or choosing a pricing plan. We use this to keep the site secure, prevent spam, and understand which pages are useful.
Cookies and similar technologies. With your consent, we may use analytics and advertising tools (such as Google Analytics, Google Ads and the Meta Pixel) that set cookies or similar identifiers to measure visits and the performance of our advertising. These load only after you click "Accept" on the cookie banner. If you click "Decline", they are not loaded.
2. How we use your information
- To reply to your enquiry, send you a quote or plan recommendation, and deliver services you ask for.
- To keep records of enquiries and projects.
- To protect the site against spam, abuse and security threats.
- To measure and improve the website and our advertising, where you have consented to analytics and advertising cookies.
We do not sell your personal information.
3. Who we share it with
We share information only with service providers who help us run the business, and only as needed: our web hosting provider (which stores the website and its database), our email delivery provider, WhatsApp (Meta) when you choose to message us there, and analytics or advertising providers where you have accepted cookies. These providers may process data outside India. We may also disclose information when required by law.
4. How long we keep it
We keep enquiry details for as long as needed to respond to you and for up to 24 months afterwards, unless you become a client, in which case we keep project and billing records for as long as the law requires. Server logs and interaction events are kept for up to 24 months.
5. Security
The site is served over HTTPS, our database credentials are stored outside the public web folder, and access is limited to people who need it. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
6. Your rights
You can ask us to tell you what personal data we hold about you, correct it, delete it, or stop using it for a purpose you previously agreed to. You can withdraw your cookie consent at any time by using the "Cookie settings" link in the footer. To exercise any right, email support@techbloster.com. We will respond within a reasonable time and, in any case, within the period required by law.
7. Children
Our services are aimed at business owners. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 18.
8. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date above shows when it last changed.
